Double Chocolate Muffin Mix

Who wouldn’t want a cute jar filled with homemade muffin mix? This is a great holiday gift idea for friends and family. In our house, this mix is perfect for making a quick, easy, and delicious batch of muffins whenever we want!

Oven Temperature: 350°F
Baking Time: 15-20 min.
Makes: 12 muffins

Ingredients:
Mix:
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/4 Tbs. cocoa powder
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 1/8 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Batter:
1 jar muffin mix
3/4 cup cold coffee or milk
3/4 Tbs. vinegar
3/4 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 Tbs. oil

Directions:
Combine flour, salt and soda. Layer into a quart jar in the following order: sugar, cocoa, nuts, chips and flour, salt, soda combined.

Recipe to attach:
Add ingredients into a mixing bowl. Mix well. Combine 3/4 cup cold coffee, 3/4 T. vinegar, 3/4 tsp. vanilla, and 4 1/2 T. oil in a small mixing bowl. Stir into dry ingredients until moistened.

Drop batter into greased or paper lined muffin tins, 2/3 full. Bake in preheated 350° F. oven for 15 – 20 minutes, or until a pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from tins to wire rack to cool.
