This is a recipe we saw on youtube. It’s super yummy!
Refrigeration Time: 40 minutes
Makes: 20-30 truffles
1 package of Oreos (any kind you want!)
1 8 ounce package of cream cheese (use regular or it won’t hold the Oreos together)
1 12 ounce package of chocolate chips (whatever kind you prefer)
Prepare a pan (or pans)with wax paper and set aside.
Blend the whole package of Oreos in a food processor (or crush in a reseal-able plastic bag) until the cookies are fine crumbs.
Place the crumbs in a bowl with the entire package of cream cheese. Mix with a spoon until it becomes too thick to manage. Then, use your hands to thouroughly mix the mixture into a dough.
Form the dough into balls and place on the prepared pan(s). Put into the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, put the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe container and put in the microwave at half power for one and a half minutes. Stir the chocolate with a spoon.
When the Oreo balls are ready, dunk one into the chocolate and get it evenly coated. Use a spoon to place it back onto the pan. Repeat this with each Oreo ball. Put the completely truffles in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before digging in! Enjoy!
